Your Guide to Mobile Chiropractic Care in Sioux Falls

Updated: Sep 21

Introduction: Taking the Chiropractor to You
Back pain rarely shows up at a convenient time. Neither does neck pain. You might wake up sore, aggravate something at the gym, or realize halfway through a workday that sitting at your desk has become miserable.
Then comes another problem: finding an appointment, driving across town, sitting in a waiting room, and fitting the whole thing into the rest of your day.
Mobile chiropractic removes some of that friction. The chiropractor comes to you.
MyChiro provides mobile chiropractic care throughout Sioux Falls, bringing evaluation and treatment directly to your home, office, or workplace.

What Changes When the Chiropractor Comes to You?
Not much about the actual appointment.
I still take a history, examine the problem, decide whether chiropractic care is appropriate, and treat when indicated. Depending on what I find, that might include an adjustment, soft-tissue work, movement, or exercises you can do on your own.
What changes is everything around the appointment.
You don't have to drive across town, sit in a waiting room, or build an extra hour into your day for a 20-minute visit. I bring the table and equipment with me, set up where you are, provide the visit, pack everything back up, and leave.
For some patients, that convenience is the entire reason mobile chiropractic makes sense.
Who Is Mobile Chiropractic For?
There isn't a special kind of patient who needs a mobile chiropractor.
Some people call because their back suddenly hurts. Others have neck pain, sciatica, or an old problem that has flared up again. Some have a chiropractor they normally see but can't get an appointment when they need one. Others simply don't want to drive across town for a visit.
I've treated people at their homes, workplaces, hotels, and other locations around Sioux Falls. The setting changes. The basic process doesn't: figure out what's going on, determine whether it's something I can reasonably help with, and go from there.
Not everyone needs chiropractic care. And not everyone who does needs a long treatment plan. Sometimes one visit is enough. Sometimes it takes a few. If something doesn't look appropriate for chiropractic care, I'll tell you that too.
What Do People Call Me About?
Most people don't call a chiropractor because they're thinking about spinal health. They call because something hurts.
Back pain and neck pain are probably the most obvious examples. But I also see people with pain traveling into an arm or leg, headaches associated with neck pain, stiffness, and musculoskeletal problems that show up after work, exercise, travel, or seemingly for no obvious reason.
The first question isn't whether you need an adjustment. It's what might be causing the problem and whether chiropractic care is appropriate in the first place.
Sometimes treatment includes an adjustment. Sometimes soft-tissue work or exercise makes more sense. Often it's some combination. And occasionally the right answer is that you should see someone else.
That's much stronger.
When You Need an Appointment Soon
Back or neck pain doesn't always cooperate with your calendar. When appropriate, a same-day appointment can give you an opportunity to be evaluated without waiting several days for an opening.

Ready for Relief? Your Next Steps
Mobile chiropractic doesn't change what good musculoskeletal care should look like. It changes where that care happens.
For people dealing with back pain, neck pain, stiffness, or other musculoskeletal complaints, having the chiropractor come to you can remove one more obstacle between having a problem and getting it assessed.
