About Dr. Lucas Marchand, Chiropractor in Sioux Falls

I became a chiropractor because I’ve always loved connecting with people and helping them feel their best. Over time, I realized the best way to do that wasn’t inside a traditional office — it was by bringing care directly to my patients. That’s how MyChiro was born.

My approach is inspired by the old-fashioned country doctors who made house calls — personal, convenient, and focused entirely on you. Whether you’re recovering from pain or just want to move better, I believe chiropractic care should fit seamlessly into your life, not the other way around.

Credentials & Professional Background

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wayne State College, where I developed a deep appreciation for how the body functions and heals. From there, I attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

After graduation from Chiropractic College in the fall of 2014, I spent a year in 2015 as an associate chiropractor in Temple, Texas, refining my hands-on skills and patient-centered approach before returning home to establish MyChiro in Sioux Falls in 2016. I've been serving the Sioux Falls area — including Tea, Brandon, Harrisburg, and Renner — ever since, providing high-quality, personalized mobile chiropractic care.

I use a variety of evidence-based chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Thompson (drop table), Activator, Manual Therapy Techniques, and Rehab — allowing me to tailor each visit to the specific needs and comfort level of every patient.

Care Philosophy

My approach to care is centered on clinical outcomes and patient goals. I believe in being thorough but efficient — helping you get out of pain quickly while giving you the tools to stay that way.

Most treatment plans begin with six sessions over the course of two weeks, though every case is handled visit by visit. For some, a single session is all that’s needed; for others, a short series of visits helps ensure lasting results.

At visit six (or at week two, whichever comes first), we complete a reevaluation to measure progress and adjust the plan as needed. From there, care may transition into a maintenance schedule or as-needed visits based on your goals, lifestyle, and results.

My ultimate goal is simple — to help you move better, feel better, and stay better, all with the convenience of mobile chiropractic care that fits your life.

Community & Personal Background

I was born in India in 1987 and adopted as a child, growing up in Storm Lake, Iowa until 1993 before making Sioux Falls my home. I attended Cleveland Elementary, Whittier Middle School, and graduated from Washington High School in 2006.

Throughout school, I stayed active in football, basketball, soccer, and track, which eventually earned me a football scholarship to Wayne State College — the same place where I would later earn my degree in Biology.

Today, I still call Sioux Falls home. When I’m not working with patients, I enjoy working out, creating social media content, and volunteering with dog rescue organizations. Most of my free time is spent with my girlfriend, dog, friends, and family — the people and community that keep me grounded and motivated to help others move and feel their best.
