What is Mobile Chiropractic?
The same clinical outcomes - delivered at your door.
Mobile chiropractic care is exactly what it sounds like — a licensed chiropractor who comes to you. Instead of driving across town, sitting in a waiting room, and fitting your healthcare around a clinic's schedule, the clinic comes to your home, office, or driveway.
Everything that happens in a traditional chiropractic office happens in the mobile clinic — health history, movement assessment, soft tissue work, stretching, and adjustment. The setting is different. The clinical outcomes are the same.
"The best chiropractic adjustment in the world doesn't help if the patient never shows up to get it. Mobile care solves the access problem that keeps most people from getting the help they need."

At MyChiro, the clinic operates from a fully equipped Ford Transit van. Dr. Lucas Marchand arrives at your location with everything needed for a complete visit — table, equipment, tools. You don't need to prepare anything or clear space. Just wear comfortable clothing and have 20–45 minutes depending on visit type.
Who is it for?
Mobile chiropractic works for almost anyone - But it's built for these patients specifically.
Anyone who would benefit from chiropractic care but struggles to fit it into their schedule, their budget, or their mobility situation is a natural fit for the mobile model.
Busy professionals
Realtors between showings, executives with back-to-back calendars, remote workers whose home office has become their biggest ergonomic risk. They have 20 minutes and a driveway. That's exactly what MyChiro is built for.
People in acute pain
Back locked up overnight. Can't sit in a car comfortably. Need same-day care. The mobile model removes every barrier between the pain and the treatment.
Work-from-home patients
Remote workers are developing musculoskeletal problems faster than any other group. Hours of desk work without proper ergonomics creates exactly the kind of chronic postural strain chiropractic addresses best.
Families
One trip, multiple adjustments. The van comes once and sees the whole household. Family rates make it cost-effective and the convenience makes it sustainable as a regular health habit.
Athletes
Competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and anyone training consistently who wants to perform better and recover faster. Sports chiropractic at your training location or home.
Visitors & travelers
Threw your back out at a Sioux Falls hotel or Airbnb? We come to you. No navigating an unfamiliar city, no waiting room. Same-day appointments available any day of the week.
What happens at each visit?
A deliberate Sequence
Every MyChiro visit follows three stages in order. Each stage prepares the body for the next. The result is a more effective adjustment that holds longer than it would without the preparation.
1
Percussion therapy — soft tissue preparation
A handheld percussion device is used to reduce neuromuscular tone — the background tension muscles hold even at rest — and address fascial adhesions from chronic overuse or sustained posture. This creates the conditions for the stretching and adjustment to be more effective. You can't stretch a muscle that won't release, and you can't adjust a joint that's being held rigid by surrounding tissue.
2
PNF / PIR stretching — restoring range of motion
Post-Isometric Relaxation (PIR) uses a cycle of gentle contraction followed by relaxation to access range of motion the nervous system would otherwise protect. Move to end range, contract gently against resistance for 5–7 seconds, release, and move deeper during the relaxation phase. Done three times, it unlocks range that no passive hold reaches. This earns the adjustment a longer window to hold.
3
Chiropractic adjustment — restoring joint motion
A precise, controlled force applied to restricted joints — most commonly in the spine — to restore normal movement and reduce pain. By this stage the surrounding tissue has been prepared, which means the adjustment requires less force and the results hold longer. Technique is selected based on what each patient needs — Diversified, Thompson Drop, or Activator depending on the presentation.
First visit: ~30–45 minutes — includes health history and movement assessment in addition to the full treatment sequence.
Follow-up visits: ~15–20 minutes — focused on treatment. Most patients are done before they would have even left for a traditional appointment.
Techniques used
A complete toolkit — not a single approach forced on every patient.
Different patients need different tools. Dr. Marchand uses whichever technique is appropriate for the specific presentation, segment, and patient preference — often combining more than one in a single visit.
Diversified Technique
The most widely used manual adjustment in chiropractic. High-velocity, low-amplitude thrust to specific joints. Direct, effective, and appropriate for most presentations. The adjustment most people are familiar with.
Thompson Drop Table
Uses a segmented table that drops slightly during the adjustment, reducing the force required. Particularly effective for lumbar and pelvic work. Better option for sensitive or acutely inflamed presentations.
Activator Method
Spring-loaded instrument delivering a precise, low-force impulse. No twisting or manual pressure. Used for patients who prefer gentler care, upper cervical adjustments, and extremity work — knees, shoulders, ankles.
PNF / PIR Stretching
Contract-relax cycles that access range of motion the nervous system protects from passive holds. More effective than static stretching for most patients. Applied to whatever region is restricted before adjustment.
Percussion Therapy
Mechanical soft tissue work that reduces muscle tone and addresses fascial adhesions. Used as preparation before stretching and adjustment. Creates the window for other treatments to work more effectively.
Rehabilitative
ExerciseTargeted movement guidance for patients who need to build strength or mobility between visits. Not a full rehab program — focused, practical, specific to the presenting complaint.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about mobile chiropractic in Sioux Falls.
Is mobile chiropractic as effective as going to a clinic?
Yes. The clinical outcomes are identical — the setting is different, not the treatment. In some ways mobile care produces better outcomes because patients who don't have to rearrange their day to get care actually show up consistently. Consistency is what produces results in chiropractic

No. MyChiro operates on a pay-per-visit basis. No multi-month plans, no pressure, no commitments you didn't ask for. At visit six or at two weeks - whichever comes first - we do a brief progress check and discuss whether continued care makes sense — but you're never locked into anything.
